When you use PortfolioPro services, we may collect the following information:
- Resume data — name, email, phone, work experience, education, skills, and projects as provided in your resume
- Contact information — name, email address, and WhatsApp number used to communicate with us
- GitHub and LinkedIn profile URLs — if voluntarily shared for integration purposes
2. How We Use Your Information
The information you provide is used solely for the following purposes:
- To build and deliver your portfolio website
- To set up your domain and GitHub Pages hosting
- To optimize your GitHub profile as part of the service
- To communicate with you about your order, revisions, and support
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Resume Data
Your resume is used exclusively to build your portfolio website. It is not shared with any third party. Resume data is stored only for the duration of the project and the 1-month support period. After that, we delete your resume from our systems upon request.
4. Portfolio Content
The portfolio website we build for you is publicly accessible on the internet once deployed. The information displayed on your portfolio (name, skills, experience, projects) is information you have provided and consented to make public.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data. Communication happens via WhatsApp and email, which use encryption. We do not store your data on public servers beyond what is deployed to your GitHub Pages site.
6. Third-Party Services
To deliver our service, we use the following third-party platforms:
- GitHub — for hosting your portfolio via GitHub Pages
- Domain registrar — for purchasing your .in domain
These services have their own privacy policies which govern their use of your data.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request deletion of your resume and personal data from our records
- Request details of what information we hold about you
- Opt out of being featured in our portfolio showcase at any time
